Use of social media Presentation (PowerPoint)
Create a PowerPoint presentation with 1218 slides that includes a title slide, an agenda slide, body content slides, a conclusion slide, and, if applicable, a Sources slide. All slides contribute to the overall length requirement.
The content should focus on some aspect of social media use in the workplace, such as the value of companies embracing social media, advertising via social media, establishing social media rules, or interacting correctly and professionally using social media platforms. Assume your target audience is familiar with the overall concept of social networking, and identify your audience inside the professional workplace (management, tech team, etc.). Refer to the general design requirements in Chapter 12 (pages 206229) of your BCOM 10th edition textbook while you build your presentation.
The presentation must be in PowerPoint or PowerPoint XML format. Any other formats will be returned without a grade. For late credit, incorrectly formatted file submissions may be rectified and resubmitted. Concentrate on clarity and mechanics in writing, as well as professional language and style requirements.
The following requirements must be met by the PowerPoint presentation:
Address some aspect of social media use in the workplace in the content.
Using a title and introduction slide, begin with an introduction that identifies a key social media feature and gives context linked to the issue.
With slides that demonstrate and support your primary concepts, cover the essential themes of your subject in the body of your presentation.
Finish with a single slide that has a one-sentence wrap-up statement that refocuses on your presentation’s aim.
The presentation should have a minimum of 12 slides and a maximum of 18.
Format your PowerPoint using headings on each slide, 1020 graphics throughout, and make sure your presentation follows BCOM’s visual best practices.
