INFO 101 – Introduction to Information Systems Project Directions
Purpose:
The purpose of the term project is for you to explore an IT topic of your choice. You can choose any IT topic. If you are having problems deciding on a topic please see the instructor.
Directions:
- The term project will consist of 2 parts: 1. Project Proposal.
- Write 1-3 paragraphs summarizing the IT topic of your choice. You will submit the project proposal to the instructor for approval and feedback.
- Write an 8-10 page paper on an IT topic of your choice. Specific format for the paper can be found below.
Paper Format:
This is a formal document you will turn in. The project should consist of a title page, table of contents, topic material and appropriate references used. The paper should be 8- 10 pages in length, not including title page, table of contents or references.
Paper Standards:
Margins should be set to one inch on all sides (includes top and bottom). Use any appropriate business font you prefer, set the font size to 12 points. Larger fonts may be used when necessary. You may use color as appropriate however is not necessary. Make sure to pass your documents through the spell and grammar checkers.
