Imagine you are a clothing manufacturer and sell relatable streetwear domestically in the US.
Where would you place your factories? First, I would need to develop a business plan where I do research on the public that I am selling my clothes. Because I need to know their demographic information to make a decision that is good for me and for the consumers. I want to make sure that those who want to consume my product can also afford it. I would choose to place my factories in a place where I can access cheaper suppliers.
Where would you put your distribution centers? My main distribution center would definitely be in the factory and the other ones would be in places that I could reach the whole U.S range. For example, I would make sure to have one on the west, east, north, and south. This way I can focus each one of the distribution centers on one area.
If you had a store, where would you put it? The first store would be where I am placed. I think that if you want to start opening stores the first one needs to have 100% of your attention, not that the next ones won’t have it. But if you succeed in your product, delivery, and reputation. The next stores will basically sell themselves. And as for us to remember, nobody will take care of your business with the same care that you do. So, if you want your store to succeed you need to be there.

4a. I would place my factories in various states in the mid-west. This is due to their central location. States like Kansas, Missouri, and Illinois would be the most ideal in my opinion.
4b. I would pick larger, more populated cities for my distribution centers. This is because you have closer access to larger populations in bigger cities, which means more consumers. 4c. If I had a single store, I would put it in Los Angeles. Los Angeles has a huge population of young people who are into media and fashion. They are the target demographic for streetwear and there is a lot of opportunity for marketing in Los Angeles with social media influencers, models, etc. This would help the store get reputation throughout the city and gather local customers.
